FAQ

What counts as a message?

One message is one you send to an agent in Palette, like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Mistral. It runs on your own subscription as usual, and we add no cost or extra tokens on top. What the agent does in reply is not counted separately.

Do we pay per user?

No. Every plan covers your whole company, however many people join.

Do we need our own AI subscriptions?

For agents like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Mistral, yes — and we add nothing on top. The Palette agent needs nothing extra.

Does the Palette agent use our messages?

No. The Palette agent has its own allowance on every plan, so using it takes nothing from your monthly messages.

Is Free a trial?

No. Free is the full product, for as long as you like. Your 50 messages reset monthly from the date your plan started.

Where do our files live?

In your own folder, on your Mac and in Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or iCloud if you sync it there. Not on our servers.

Do you train on our data?

No. When an agent runs, the request goes to the model provider you chose, under their terms. We never use your files to train anything.

What happens to our work if we cancel?

Nothing. It is your folder, so every file stays with you.

What happens if we use all our messages?

On Free, your own AI tools pause until your next monthly reset date, and the Palette agent keeps going on its own allowance. On a paid plan, move up a size in the app whenever you need more room — there are no top-ups to buy.

Can we change plan size later?

Yes. Move up or down any month, in the app.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. Palette is Mac only today, and we will tell you when the Windows version is ready.

Do you help us get started?

Yes. Every Team plan includes a setup call with our activation lead, and a dedicated Slack channel so you can reach the team directly. If you want us to build it with you, book a Context setup. To walk a team onto it, book a Rollout for that team.

How does billing work?

Prices exclude VAT. Plans are billed monthly, at the start of each period. Cancel any time in the app; it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Context setup and Rollout are one-time, €499 each, and sit outside the plan.
